Update!!!

So someone reminded me that i needed to write in my blog....i had almost forgotten i even had one. Anyways so an update on my life currently....Since Ive returned from Florida two months ago, Ive had a little trouble adjusting to normal life again but i think i am just about there. I bought myself a car, a Mazda 3 hatchback that i call Mandy Mazda. I got really sick in which i lost my voice for like three weeks and am just finally getting it back. Ive been on a couple of dates all of which i have not been very interested in dating further. I had a job for a little over a month but I no longer work there.....long story so I'm not gonna blog about it. So still looking for a job. I might be working for Scentsy but will not find out later this week. If anyone knows of openings let me know. Other than just been trying to catch up with my family. Been hunting a couple of times with them in which I shot my very first duck. I am now addicted to duck hunting and I'm determined to shoot my bag limit one of these weekends. anyways not much else is going on really. Hopefully things will start to move forward for me soon.

Melissa Humphries

we had a baptism on the 2nd of may. a little nine year old girl named Melissa Humphries was baptized. this was my first baptism i performed in on over a year and a half. it was great. melissa's family was just recently reactivated after being away from the church for a long time. one day while driving to church melissa said she wanted to be baptized so they told the bishop. the bishop contacted us and so we started teaching her. she was really fun to teach and it was a great experience.

Transfer!

Hey yall so i got a call on saturday that said i was being transferred. Im kinda bummed cuz i really loved this area and the members here. I really gonna miss serving with Elder Schramm. We have had so much fun together. I guess the lord needs me somewhere else though. Im headed to the Gibsonia Ward in the the Lakeland Stake. Its right next to me first and second areas of Haines City and Auburndale. Im going to be serving with Elder Vidmar from Spokane Washington again. We were MTC comps and the served together for three months in Auburndale. We had a blast the firt time and im hoping for a repeat. this will most likley be my last area seeming how i only have four transfers left. anyways these are a few pics of two members that i ate dinner with for Easter.

Strawberries

The area im currently serving in(Plant City) is famous for its winter stawberries. since winter is over they let the public come in and pick all the left overs cuz the demand for them is gone due to the strawberry market picking up in other parts of the states. so we went and picked strawberries. we ended up with about 20lbs even after we gave some to the senior couple here.

bike accident and the emergency room

well this week was a horrible one. thursday night i got into a bike wreck and cut my leg open on the teeth of my gears. it was pretty bad so we went to the emergency room cuz it was like 9:00 at night when we got a ride there. we spent three hours there and came out with three stitches. thats just a portion of what happened this week that made it horrible but ive already vented about it and am done with it.

Randy's Baptism

Hey Yall, i finally had a baptism. It was my first since june. His name is Randy Kloko. He had a friend out in Utah that referred him but our referral secretary forgot to save the phone number so when we got the text on our phone there was no contact info. We were bummed cuz it sounded really positive. well i guess randy was waiting for our phone call that day and never recieved on so he called the office a couple of days later and we finally got some contact info. it was really neat. we talked to him, setup an appointment for the next day and commited him for baptism for the 7th of march at the first lesson. he accepted and we saw him progress in the gospel very quickly. He had been prepared by many members when he lived out in Logan, Utah. Thank goodness for members that were good examples. Anyways im really excited and hopefully we will have a few more baptisms this month.

Mission Update

so i thought i would try and start a blog to let yall know how im doing down here in florida. I figure this would be easier then trying to write yall each a letter. this saves me time and money for stamps. So Im curently serving in Plant City Florida in the Florida Tampa Mission. I love it here and i am having so much fun serving the people of florida. I am on the down hill portion with only 7 months to go. We are having great success here in Plant City with a baptism coming up on saturday and more to follow soon. The lord is blessing my and my comp. greatly. For the past two weeks we have had people just show out of the blue to church and we have started teaching them. We havent had much success in finding people through tracting but we have been obedient and diligent and i really believe that it is because of that, that we are having great success. Its a testimony to me that the lord will bless us as long as we are doing what we are supposed to do. It may not be how we think but it will work out. I have learned so much out here and am so greatful for the oppurtunity that ive had to serve a mission. Before we all now it 7 months will be up and will be back reaking havoc Foster Style but for now ive still got a lot to do. It would be great to hear from yall once in ahwile but i understand that life is hectic and busy. I still love ya anyhow.
Love Elder Foster
